Exhibition loon

For the third time Leica presents it's leica@fashionweek exhibition. We are delighted to feature two artists who have a very unique, personal style, to show us the world through a cinematographic view.

The exhibition "loon" shows shots of the fashion photographers Sandra Freij and Robert Wyatt and will last until March, 23rd 2012 and takes place at the premises of recomBERLIN (Linienstr. 144, 10115 Berlin). We present brand new and unreleased personal work from both artists shot for this exhibition, reflecting the actual trends in fashion photography. The pictures shown have been shot with Leica's professional medium format solution, the S-system.

We Love Artbuying was in charge of consulting and project realization, recomART printed the Largeformat ditone-Prints on Hahnemühle FineArt Paper.

Sandra Freij

Robert Wyatt

Sandra Freij, working from London und Boras (Sweden), has a wide-ranging background in photography. She holds a B.A. from the University College for the Creative Arts SIAD and also an M.A. from the School of Photography and film in Gothenburg. Ever since her teens she has been in love with the world of photography and has explored both art photography and fashion photography, editorially and commercially. Her editorial clients include Dazed & Confused, Lula, Another Magazine, Another Man, MIXTE, GQ Style, Exit, Velvet, Amica, Rodeo, Livraison, Bon and Swedish Elle. Commercially, Sandra has worked with Orla Kiely and shot campaigns for Marni, Marimekko, Tiger of Sweden and Mihara Yasuhiro.

 


Robert Wyatt

Robert WyattRobert Wyatt, also based in London, is a regular contributor for Flair, 10 Magazine, Russian Vogue, Sunday Times Style, GQ Style, Instyle and Muse, working with some of the world's top stylists. With a foot placed firmly in both the editorial and commercial worlds, his artistic approach and intuitive feel for photography has given Robert the opportunity to work for some of fashion's and advertising most well known brands, including f Prada, Ferrari, Valentino, Lanvin, Paul Smith, Sofitel, Brics, H&M and Peroni.
