Leica Microprism Focusing Screen S
Leica Camera has expanded the range of accessories for the Leica S2 with a microprism focusing screen. In addition to the standard focusing screen supplied with the Leica S2, the range now includes two optional focusing screens that permit optimum adaptation to the subjects and situations at hand: The Gridded Focusing Screen S and the latest option, the Microprism Focusing Screen S.
Thanks to its combination of a split image and a microprism ring, the Leica Microprism Focusing Screen S is the perfect aid for manual focusing. Changing the screen does not affect any of the camera's usual functions like exposure metering and autofocus. The Leica S2 user manual provides a detailed description of how to change focusing screens safely.
The Leica Microprism Focusing Screen S is now available from all authorised Leica dealers and is supplied complete with a pair of tweezers for changing the screens and a soft brush for the removal of dust.
